Blythecon New York featured dolls Tula-Dil and Kai

With the most wonderful assistant anyone could ever ask for, I recently traveled  all the way from  California to New York! I have never been to the city before and wanted to see it all but,  I had one goal in mind... BLYTHECON! I worked for over a year on the characters I presented. And because of some signage issues I unfortunately had to present them without their respective stories! The Above doll is my character Tula-Dil about 20 years 5 years older than her figure set. Her proportions done in blythe style.

Next Up was Kai the Unicorn/Kirin/Capricorn. Imagine what they thought when they check my luggage? :) She stands over 18" tall and has the most articulated neck, tail, ears, legs and arms I have ever made. She can even take another blythe for a ride.

So Finland inherited the Middie Blythe loose neck syndrome. I tried several things to really fix it. Some people have had luck with clear rubber bands but that did not work for me because every time I did it the bands would slip and I know from experience that the mini bands disintegrate. I wanted something really strong. Anyhow, Fix your middie forever by cutting the finger tips off a rubber glove. Make sure you have the non-powdered side facing out on both sides. And Huzzah a very tight fit for your poor Middie.

Tin, worrying about the weather in New York decided Grannamyra needed an upgrade!! Something fashionable and something to keep the stars from escaping? What would happen if they did? Who could put them back? Maybe She should hire a Knight to protect the gate? Hmmmm...



Sorry about the lack of updates friends, I am working non-stop to try and complete some very ambitious custom blythe dolls, and a GIANT surprise more than ten years in the making.

Once a beautiful tree sorceress she merged with the stars of the zodiac to lock away a monster deep in a dark forest. She was celebrated as a hero for many years but over time all forgot she existed. Rusted from from tears she could no longer move. Grannamyra watched for the people she loved and saved but after a hundred years she closed her eyes forever.

Tin-Uva is possibly the smartest of all the zodiac. She has a knack for clockworks, in fact her only friends are clockwork. She Found the rusted old Zodiac Gate and with a few modifications brought her back from the dead.
